WAREHOUSE DISTRICT. American French cuisine is the star at this recently renamed restaurant. Herbsaint, formerly Bizou, features a new chef and a new, innovative menu. Culinary creations include vegetarian antipasto shrimp with green chile grit cakes at lunch. For dinner, the menu features items such as mustard seed crusted salmon with scallion rice, or sautéed pork tenderloin in smothered greens. Diners are surrounded in a contemporary minimalist decor that showcases elegant lighting. The menu features a stellar wine list and reservations are recommended, even for lunch.

CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. Inviting and elegant, this hotel dining room is a jewel in the Windsor Court Hotel's crown. Adorned with flowers, graceful chandeliers, rich materials, and focal-point murals, the Grill is New Orlean's only Mobil Five Star-accredited restaurant. The cuisine changes monthly but features incredible dishes like roasted monkfish tail with squid and mussels, chicken breast stuffed with morels and foie gras, and wine-braised rabbit. Top them off with warm chocolate fondant cake or passion fruit souffle with coconut soup. Tasting menus are available.

CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. Within the InterContinental New Orleans is one of the city's most spacious and airy dining rooms. White linens, abundant greenery, and high ceilings provide the backdrop for a menu of Cajun and Creole fare. Breakfast and brunch buffets are popular during the week, and Sunday's jazz brunch is a well-attended event, courtesy of great food, incredible music, and a nip or two of champagne.
